Johns Creek Design + Build Part 2 : The Foyer
The home's previous foyer flooring was was a tunnel that needed directional flow. The marble flooring was dated and had started to crack, and the staircase had a pickled finish.
Through thoughtful design here's what we did to remedy these issues: Removed the door transoms to open up the space visually and replaced the handrails and treads to a beautiful coffee-colored stain. Great attention was paid to the flooring where we referenced the circular shape of their entry door; we placed stone tiles in between wood inlays including hand cut wooden circles. Gorgeous!
Now the area is as inviting and warm as the homeowners!
